  Just called to book a car for 1 day. whilst my comment is not against the fellow who answered the phone, but Budget, who advertise rates with Jetstar if you are travelling wit them, i was told the deposit is $400 if you are using a visa debit, but no deposit if you use a credit card.

  what an insult. Just because you choose not to live on credit, and have the cash available on your debit card, you are made out to be a lesser person. But if you live on credit, then you are a better person in the eyes of Budget.

  Nothing to complain about but there just wasnt a "hey nice to have you as a customer" feel about the transaction. Usual attempt to sell additioanl insurance which we declined as already covred in our travel insurance package.
